It was our very first day in Croatia, and we came here all the way from Zadar, inspired by the photos and wonderful reviews. And it was absolutely worth it! The food was incredibly delicious, the wine just perfect, and the service from Mr. Ivan was outstanding – truly five-star. We came to celebrate our mother’s 50th birthday, and this dinner made the evening unforgettable. A truly special place that we will always remember! Oh and by the way, you can come here with your dog

Lovely konoba, hidden from the main street. Comfort food, local dishes, not an ordinary spot. I highly recommend it

We had a lovely night at Konoba Duc! Very friendly waiter, good wine and good food in a cozy setting! We would definitely go back!

I had my doubts at first since the daily menu is limited, but I’m so glad to have been proven wrong! The staff was friendly and professional, and the food? Absolutely delicious. My wife and I had the shrimp pasta and lamb stew, and both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and really well prepared. The salads were crisp and juicy, the olive oil was top-notch, and the homemade rakija was a perfect touch. This is a cozy, homey spot that makes you feel welcome, definitely worth your time and your palate. 10/10 recommend!

The food was tasty, but the portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected — we were still a little hungry at the end. The waiter, originally from Slavonia, was extremely polite and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable. Prices are fair, but honestly, we wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for slightly larger portions. The menu is quite limited, and it’s a shame that you can’t order simple extras like fries for the kids or add anything beyond what’s listed.

The most authentic Dalmatian restaurant (konoba) in the area. There is no à la carte menu—only a daily selection of a few very traditional dishes. Don’t expect nuggets, pizzas, burgers, or extra fries for the kids; the focus here is entirely on authentic local cuisine. Also, note that they do not accept cards—it’s cash only. Despite the limited menu, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish, dessert, wine, and rakija served. The signature drink is their specially prepared asparagus rakija, enhanced with a secret ingredient that gives it an outstanding taste. As for the food, the standout dish could be pašticada (my Gen Z nephew loved it so much he ordered it twice). The menu changes often, though, so each visit brings the chance to discover new traditional flavors—like sipa s bobom (cuttlefish with broad/fava beans)—which have expanded my appreciation of local tastes and cuisine. The staff are very friendly, helpful in explaining the meals, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. If you want to experience true traditional Dalmatian food—this is the place to go!

Even 2 dishes were finished when we arrived at 18:30, what we got was fantastic, the go to place in the zadar region…need to add, all dishes available, went a 2nd time, this time prawns buzara and the beef stew, crazy good, my new fav place in the whole region…

A true little culinary gem. The brodet was excellent, and as for the octopus, we had to ask if it was really octopus – unbelievably tender and flavorful! The service was great, and the ambiance, including the music, was outstanding. To the owner and staff, I can only say: this is how it’s done!
